In the second minute Gerec did not use Daniel´s pass and missed the target in a chance. After nine minutes Gerec used next Daniel´s pass and scored – 1:0. In the thirty-fifth minute Chudý caught Kochan´s attempt from behind of the penalty area. At the end of the first half time Daniel missed the target from behind of the penalty area.
In the fifty-second minute Daniel was fouled in the penalty area and Twardzik scored from a penalty kick – 2:0. After eleven minutes Urdinov just missed the target from behind of the penalty area. Subsequently domestic goalie Macík tipped dangerous Yilmaz´s shot. In the seventy-ninth minute Kostadinov used Gerec´s pass and scored – 3:0. About nine minutes later Yilmaz scored after a corner kick – 3:1.
David Holoubek (head coach of MFK Ružomberok): „The opponent came well prepared for us. He defended in the block and it caused us great problems to get through that defense. In the first half time he often went into break situations, too often from my point of view. We had good half time entries when we scored the first goal and the second goal at the beginning of the half times, which made us feel more relaxed. We considered the match to be very important in terms of points. We wanted to get three points in any way. I'm very glad we did. What I'm sorry is, of course, a 3: 1 goal because we want to play it with zero, we want to defend well and I am sorry for that. The last match is waiting for us and we have to repeat the matches with Trnava and Slovan and then evaluate the season.“
