In the tenth minute Lačný was fouled in the penalty area and Ďubek scored from the penalty kick – 1:0. Subsequently domestic players took over the activity and in the twenty-eighth minute Slančík made it to draw – 1:1. After eleven minutes Lačný scored – 1:2. Ruzomberok won 2:1 and will play a semi-final with AS Trencin.
In the quarterfinal of Slovnaft Cup Ruzomberok played in Zlate Moravce.
