Trenčín opened the score as early as the fifth minute, when Koolwijk succeeded in front of Tofiloski. After seven minutes Rundič hit the goalpost from a free kick – 1:0. In the fifteenth minute Bero didn´t make use of a chance. Subsequently Šemrinec tipped Faško´s attempt and about two minutes later Maslo header right beside the target. In the twenty-first minute Tofiloski tipped Guba´s dangerous shot. After two minute Lovás fired from twenty-five meters, but his shot was tipped bydomestic goalkeeper. At the end of the first half Tofiloski stopped Guba´s and Van Kessel´s attempts.
In the forty-seventh minute there was a Van Kessel header into the crossbar. Subsequently Koolwijk and Guba didn´t make use of a goal chance. In the fifty-sixth minute Madu missed the target. In the sixty-third minute Jakubko hit the goalkeeper ina big chance, subsequently guest striker got the ball, he kicked the ball in front of the goal, where Lovás used his pass and Trenčín received first goal in the current season – 1:1. About eleven minute later guest goalkeeper caught Rudnič´s shot. At the end of the match Šemrinec tipped Jakubko´s dangerous header.
