In the fourth minute Kojnok blocked Mečiar´s shot. After seven minutes Twardzik scored from a free kick – 0:1. In the eighteenth minute Macík caught Morong´s attempt. Subsequently guest player Takáč just missed the target from behind of the penalty area. About six minutes later Regáli used Bobček´s pass and scored – 0:2. In the thirty-first minute Regáli missed the target in a chance. At the end of the first half time Regali did not use Bobček´s pass and Penksa tipped his dangerous pass from border of the penalty area.
In the sixty-first minute Mojžiš missed the target after a corner kick. About twelve minutes later Gerec did not use Twardzik´s pass and Penksa caught his attempt. In the eighty-fifth minute Macík caught Louka´s dangerous header. About three minutes later guest goalie caught Potoma´s shot from border of the penalty area. In the nineteenth minute domestic defender blocked very dangerous Kmeť´s pass. Ružomberok won 2:0 and proceeded to the semi-final.
